Self care is one of the 21st century’s favorite buzz phrases. It’s a catch-all phrase that doesn’t tell you what to do but that you should be doing it. This category will focus on self care techniques and ways to prioritize it. Self care is more important than ever for the overextended professional woman.
Some of the primary topics that will be covered include spa time, mindfulness, exercise, and nutrition. There are many other ways that you can take care of yourself, but these are the main ones that I’ve found helpful. Spa time will include best face and hair masks that fit in a carry-on suitcase. Mindfulness will look at ways to stay present in your busy road days. Exercise will focus on ways to fit smaller fitness in regularly while traveling. Good nutrition is critical to mental health and performance. All of these topics interlay, and we will explore the ways they work together to support us as businesswomen.
